Regency is a quick and easy-to-learn, civilization-themed, interactive, set collection card game where players take up the mantle of history's greatest rulers.
Acting as regents, players attract citizens to serve in different roles in their domain, from nobles, to religious, military, merchants, commoners, and brigands. With the addition of each citizen-type new options become available to play.
(7 mins)
Each new citizen type added to your domain opens new options for play.
Commoners are designated by the crossed hammers icon against a brown background.
Military citizens are designated by the sword and shield icon against a red background.
Having a military citizen in your domain allows you to take defensive reactions to protect what's yours.
Some Citizens can be assigned to fill a role in your domain from a selection of options.
These Citizens are more sought after because regents can assign them wherever they are needed most.
For this reason, rival regents might seek to "Abduct" them, providing they have a Brigand in their domain, or "Convert" them if they have a Religious citizen.
The first regent to acquire all six different citizen types wins the game!
God Save the King thrusts players into the center of the conflict between warring kingdoms. The crown is threatened; the duty to take up arms falls to every living subject, whether knight, marshal, captain, footman, squire or cup-bearer. Even the Queen, herself may be called upon to give her life, that the King may be spared.
Step back in time to a dark period in human history when frenzy and paranoia dominated peoples’ perception of ‘the other’, driving communities all throughout Europe to take the most extreme measures against their fellow man… or woman, as history would have it.
King Ragnar Lothbrok is dead! He is survived by his sons, each with competing claims to the throne. In Vikings: Ascent the enemy in front of you is less of a threat than the friend at your back. Do you have what it takes to make the ascent and claim Ragnar's crown?
Attempts by the British crown to tax the American colonies between 1765-1773 was met with resistance leading to bloodshed. In Death and Taxes players must work together to emerge with their lives and liberty intact.
